Inputs
Inputs are the raw materials that go into production. These include malt, hops, salts, empty cans, and labels.
Add Input
It is important when adding a new input that the Unit of Measure is appropriate to how you will use it in Production. For example, you may buy hops by kilograms but use them by the gram in production. When setting up the input you would want to set it up in grams.
- Navigate to Inventory->Inputs
- Click the 'Add Input' button
- Enter all the fields
- ** Reminder to correctly set the input unit of measure most often used**
- Click the 'Save' button in the top right corner
Input Supplier Info
To add the product number for the input you will add that info on the Supplier Info tab. Some inputs may have multiple suppliers with different product numbers. You can add each number for each supplier on this tab. This is to ensure when you issue your Purchase Order that the correct product number is applied for the supplier you are sending the Purchase Order.
- Click the 'Supplier Info' tab on the input page
- Click the 'Add Supplier' button
- A new line will appear in the table below
- Click in the first cell and select the Supplier
- Click in the second cell and enter the product number for that Supplier
